Add your listing to Kodu

Selling a flat, a house or a plot? Letting one? Kodu is Estonia's new property portal and the listing is free — the first, the second and every further one, for as long as it is up. No activation fee, no monthly fee, no small print.

How it works

  1. Make an account — an email address and a link to your inbox. There is no password, so there is none to forget. Make an account
  2. Add the listing — type the address, and the building's facts (year built, floors, energy class) come from the national building registry by themselves. Yours are the price, the size, the rooms, the photographs and a few sentences.
  3. We look it over — every new listing passes a human eye before it publishes, usually within the day. That is our spam protection, and the only thing a listing waits for. The row on My account says Waiting for approval until it is done.
  4. It is up — in the search, on the map on the very building, and in readers' favourites. Sold? Pause or delete, one press.

What you get

  • A map that shows the right house. Not the district — the building, and a buyer sending an inquiry can see where it stands.
  • Inquiries straight to your inbox. Nobody on the portal sees your email address; the reply lands in your own inbox and you decide whom to answer.
  • Four languages. The listing is read in Estonian, English, Russian and Ukrainian — the assistant translates the description itself, you translate nothing.
  • The numbers. Views, favourites, inquiries — My account says how the listing is doing.
  • You edit it yourself. Price, photographs, status — every change is up at once.

Two honest sentences

The listing is free and stays free. If we ever sell anything, it comes on top of a listing — a place on the front page, say — by your own choice, and the free listing never depends on it. If you wish, you verify the account with a one-time €1 transfer in your own name: it gives the account the mark “Identity verified” and changes nothing else.
