For agencies: listings free, the import on us

Kodu is Estonia's new property portal, built as a tool for an estate agency rather than one more place to copy listings into by hand. Two offers for the opening, neither with small print.

1. Listings are free

Every listing, every agent, every month — no monthly fee and no consolidated invoice. An agency account costs nothing to make. If we ever sell anything, it comes on top of a listing — a place on the front page, say — by the agency's own choice, and the free listing never depends on it.

2. We import your data ourselves, for free

Your listings already live somewhere: in your own system, on another portal, in a spreadsheet. We bring them into Kodu and keep them in sync:

  • Over a REST interface — if you have one, we read the listings straight from it. A new listing appears, a change arrives, a withdrawn one goes.
  • From a CSV file — one file, one row per listing, photographs as links. We say which columns, and read it in.
  • From a ZIP — the CSV together with the photographs in one package, for pictures that are not on the web.

From your side it takes access to the data and one person who answers questions. How the sync works is written up separately: Your listings on our portal.

What comes with an agency account

  • Agents with their own seats — owner, manager, agent — every listing under the agency's name, and the inquiry straight to the inbox of the agent selling it.
  • The map on the right building and the building's facts from the national registry, on every listing.
  • Four languages with nothing to translate: the assistant translates the description, the reader reads Estonian, English, Russian or Ukrainian.
  • The numbers — views, favourites, inquiries — by agency and by agent.

How to start

  1. Make an account and press New agency.
  2. Write to info@comm.ee: say where your listings are, and we start the import.
  3. A listing added by hand passes our eye before it publishes — usually within the day; imported listings go up at once. If you wish, you validate the agency with a one-time €1 transfer in the agency's name: it gives the agency the mark “Validated agency” and changes nothing else.
